    Next Level Photo Education offers interactive photography courses for homeschool students ages 3-18. Our live Zoom classes and self-paced courses teach creativity, composition, lighting, and camera skills in a fun, supportive environment. Students can explore everything from beginner photography to night photography and even starting a photography business.

    We created our Focus Academy Series with homeschool families in mind. This series offers photography courses for every grade level from Kindergarten through graduation while integrating standards-aligned, grade-level math, science, English, social studies, and art skills.

    In addition to online learning, we host free monthly photo walks in the Charleston, SC area, giving students hands-on experience in real-world settings. Visit our booth for interactive activities and to learn how photography can enhance your homeschool curriculum!

    Drama Kids is an exciting, curriculum based opportunity for children ages 4-18. Our teachers are trained to use the magic of theater to teach ALL students valuable life skills in public speaking while developing self-esteem, confidence, creative thinking, and acting skills. This internationally recognized theater enrichment program helps student gain confidence in leadership and teamwork development. These are skills that are desperately needed for success in any career. We offer enrichments during the school year and camp opportunities.

    We are a University Model Classical Christian High School, which is a hybrid school. We offer a 3 day option with classes on campus 3 days, also a 4 or 5 day option with guided study sessions on the extra days. We offer exclusive homeschool gymnastics classes from 11 AM - 3 PM Monday-Wednesday at our location in Nexton (Summerville). We currently have over 50 students with us!     Our booth will highlight Magnolia Plantation & Garden's immersive learning experiences, designed to ignite curiosity and support education through hands-on, meaningful activities. Families will discover a range of engaging programs that foster active learning and critical thinking. We’re excited to partner with the homeschool community to programming in Lowcountry history, Ecology, Life Science, and more. Attendees will learn about our tours and specialty classes, such as Birding, Plant Adaptations, Visual Literacy and activities like sensory walks and bridge-building challenges that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. Additionally, we’ll provide information on family membership discounts, discounted group tours, and our 2025 summer STEM/STEAM programs. Lastly, we will be on-site to meet with families and explore how we can customize our tour experiences to best meet the needs of the local homeschool community.

    Formerly James Island Learning Co-op is a nature based co-op currently welcoming families with children ages four through six with plans to grow with our children.     Turning Point USA is a nonprofit student organization that empowers students to share their beliefs through peer-to-peer conversations, eye-catching materials & resources, and exciting events. TPUSA High School chapters learn about the Constitution, American exceptionalism, and free enterprise. Students are able to bring the ultimate patriotic club to their community by starting a TPUSA Students chapter.

  • We provide competitive sports opportunities for home educated athletes in the Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley Tri-County Area of South Carolina. We compete against public, charter, and private schools as well as other home school associations. Currently we have boys soccer, girls volleyball, and basketball for both boys and girls.

    SCAIHS, operating in accordance to the SC code, Section 59-65-45, is a non-profit association which provides a legal, alternate source of approval and supervision for home schooling families in South Carolina. The mission of SCAIHS is to coordinate and establish academic standards, to document the course of study, and to provide support services for member home schools.

    I’m a local piano teacher and I love teaching homeschoolers! I teach Music for Little Mozarts (ages 4-6) in small groups or private lessons and all ages over 4 including adults. Piano and music study has been proven to give students a better foundation for math/science and helps students with compassion and empathy towards others. The benefits are too many to name here, but that is a start.

    Our books are realistic fiction set on the remote nature sanctuary off the Charleston coast called Dewees Island! Children can learn about SC’s coastal landscape through the wild adventures of Jake, his grandmother Honey, and his two best friends Macon and Lovie.
